There are so many terms floating around right now when it comes to Rattan.
You may have heard, rattan, wicker, cane and not been sure how to differentiate them.
Are they all the same? In short, no.
To keep it really simple:
The important thing to note is that wicker is a style of weaving and rattan is a material. Cane is usually from something with a thin vine (as it is the bark) and caning, is a style of weaving.
There is so much more to this, and of course a variety of ways each term is used, but we thought a quick overview might be helpful!
